Meeching Lodge No 7001 is based at the East Brighton
Masonic Centre in the Sussex town of Peacehaven in the UK.
Peacehaven is situated against the green backdrop of the
Sussex Downs to the north and the white chalk cliff tops overlooking
the English Channel to the south.
In the Millenium Year, Meeching Lodge celebrated the 50th
year since it's consecration on the 30th September 1950. The
occasion was marked by a special meeting on the 30th September
2000 when a new banner was dedicated to the memory of the
founding members of the Lodge.
The following pages are therefore a tribute to those founders
and an interesting and informative account of the history
of Meeching Lodge, beginning with the years of the second
world war right through to the present day.
In addition, this site serves to provide up to date news
about Meeching Lodge, enabling our many friends and members
to remain informed as to what we are doing and when!
We hope that you enjoy this site and would welcome any feedback
